"I lift up eyes to the mountains - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth." (Psalm 121: 1-2)
Our good God has brought us to the beginning of a new month, hallowed be His Holy Name! I welcome you all heartily and pray that this month you shall receive help to fulfill God's purpose in your lives and families. Amen. We are sincerely encouraged by the enthusiasm and delight shown by all the men thatattended the maiden Mapo Men's Fellowship (MMF) on Thursday 4th Feb. 2016. Our prayers is that the Almighty God will show Himself strong on behalf of the Men in the Church through the activities of this fellowship in Jesus Name. Amen.
This month, our theme is "Divine Help From Above". Note first that this world is a battle field, and without divine help you will suffer humiliation and shame. Without divine help people will forget you and men will abandon you. Remember Joseph in Gen 40:9-14, he expected help from a man, but that man forgot. Joseph requested for two things: 1. Think of me, my brother and show kindness. 2. Mention my name to Pharaoh. Yet that man did not remember. What made that man remember later on was the help and the intervention of God! In the name of Jesus, wherever you have been forgotten, God will force them to remember you this month! Amen.
The help of God wins the battle of life (Deborah and Barak in Judges 4 & Judges 5:20). Sisera was invisible but divine help destroyed him. Anyone fighting against you is fighting against God. Angels came down and finished Sisera. Angels of Heaven will finish your adversaries this month ( See also 2Cor. 26:3-7). With the help of God every wall of Jericho begins to fall. In Jousha5:13-14 & 6:20, the captain of the host of God, a member of the God-head, was personally present to help the Israelites push down that wall! In this month, I see every wall before you, falling flat in the mighty bane of Jesus! Amen,
God's help gives strength in every area of life: This is obvious in 2Chr. 26:15. Marvelous help will always generate marvelous strength, Spiritual strength, Material strength, Academic strength, and Financial strength. As God's help locate you today, I see the strength of God enveloping you in Jesus name! God's help open door to helpers: God's help provoke other people to help (1Chr. 12:16-18). In your finances you be helped, in your education you will be helped, in your family you will be helped. Amen.
God's help prevent accidents: When help is in place preservation is sure (Psalm 121). As you depart from here and go on this week, your name will attract helpers! Your word will invite favor! Your spirit will make everyone run around you to help you. (1Chr. 12:21-22). So shall it be in Jesus Name. Amen.
Through Our God we shall do valiantly. Psalm 60:12
Shalom
Your Pastor and Friend,
Ven. (Engr,) K. A. Aremu
